About Me
I love working with children. Every child is a gift and has a wonderful purpose yet to be discovered. I feel lucky to be a part of that discovery for children.
Hi there! Thanks for coming to my corner of the school! I am Patti Patrzykont. I have been a speech-language pathologist working in the public schools for 23 years now. I have worked with students from birth thru high school. I graduated from Wichita State University with both my B.A. and M.A. ( Go SHOX! ). This is my first year working in Andover! Prior to coming here I was working with 3 to 5 year old developmentally delayed pre-school students.
I have two fabulous daughters, 20 and 24. They both graduated from Andover High School and are continuing their educational journey as life long learners. We share lots of laughter together. Now that they are adults its great to have that time together that is a different mother /daughter relationship.
I have two dogs ( they used to be my daughters dogs), Junie B. from the Junie B. Jones books and Wu - short for WuShock. Can you tell we are huge Shocker fans? Besides enjoying my dogs I am remodeling my kitchen this year - it's taking forever! I love to scapbook, garden, read and dance. I've just learn how to dance west coast and east coast swing. Life is good and I get to be a part of your child's life here at Martin
